About this opportunity
FEMA is seeking owners of multi-family rental properties (apartment complexes with three or more units) located in specified counties in Tennessee that were impacted by Tropical Storm Helene disaster DR-4832-TN. The properties must be repairable within four months, not located in a floodway, and able to accommodate a significant number of displaced residents. FEMA is requesting information on the property status, unit details, repair needs, and timeframe to make units habitable. Responses are due by November 25, 2024 and should include the vendor's technical capability, past experience, and ability to manage the required services. This Request for Information is for market research purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation.
There is no set-aside designation for this opportunity. FEMA is looking to temporarily lease and repair the identified multi-family properties to provide housing for eligible disaster applicants for up to 18 months, with the repair costs being deducted from the lease agreement. The Pre-solicitation notice does not provide any information on potential incumbent contractors or award values, as this is an initial market research effort to gather information from interested property owners.
