About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Fort Worth is procuring comprehensive water monitoring services at Benbrook Lake. The contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform water system monitoring, drinking water sample collection, swim beach monitoring, and subsequent analysis. The work falls under NAICS code 541380 for Testing Laboratories and Services and PSC category F103 for Environmental Systems Protection-Water Quality Support. The Performance Work Statement defines specific standards that the contractor must meet, though the solicitation notice does not specify evaluation criteria. The solicitation was posted on September 18, 2025, with responses due by September 22, 2025, providing only four days for proposal preparation.
This opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside, restricting competition to qualified small business entities. The solicitation notice does not identify any incumbent contractors or provide specific award values or budget ranges for the water monitoring contract. No details are provided regarding the duration of the contract period or specific quantities of samples to be collected and analyzed. The place of performance is clearly established as Benbrook Lake, which falls within the Fort Worth District's area of responsibility. The tight timeline between posting and due date suggests this may be an urgent requirement or a re-solicitation of previously advertised work.
