About this opportunity

The Library of Congress issued a Limited / Sole Source Justification Notice for transportation services provided by Constantine Ltd to move museum loan objects from the United Kingdom to the United States. The contract, valued at $78,348.80, covers the transportation of 37 total objects (32 from the Royal Collection Trust and 5 from the Science Museum Group) for an exhibition titled "The Two Georges: Parallel Lives in an Age of Revolution." The sole source justification was based on specific museum requirements, with the Science Museum Group mandating Constantine Ltd as the exclusive transport agent and the Royal Collection Trust approving the company as one of two authorized contractors. The period of performance spans from February 25, 2025 to May 1, 2026, with object deliveries to the Library of Congress scheduled for March 2025 and return shipments occurring in October 2025 and March 2026. The contract price was determined fair and reasonable after comparison with the Independent Government Estimate of $70,000.
