About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center seeks a Transition Assistance Program Clerk to support the Military and Family Readiness Center at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, with proposals due July 8, 2026, at 2:00 pm local time. The procurement is a 100% small business set-aside structured as a five-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (one base year plus four option years, September 1, 2026, through August 31, 2031).
Place of performance is Hill Air Force Base, Utah. The position is full-time, requiring continuous live telephone coverage Monday through Friday, 0730 to 1630, with a one-hour lunch break. The contractor must manage approximately 80 TAP-related workshops and events annually, including TAP data entry, scheduling via AFFIRST and Outlook systems, student attendance tracking, and front desk customer service.
Minimum qualifications include six months of administrative, scheduling, or data entry experience; proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; demonstrated ability to produce written products to Air Force standards; technical ability to set up virtual classroom environments using Microsoft Teams; basic understanding of military protocol and Air Force terminology; and excellent customer service and communication skills. Personnel must successfully pass and maintain a favorable federal background investigation to obtain and retain a Common Access Card for unescorted installation access. Background investigations commence September 1, 2026.
The contract is subject to Service Contract Act wage determination requirements (Department of Labor Wage Determination No. 2015-5483, effective May 13, 2026). The wage determination supersedes conflicting Performance Work Statement provisions regarding paid holidays and establishes minimum wage and fringe benefit rates. The NAICS code is 561110, Office Administrative Services; PSC is R699, Support—Administrative: Other. Evaluation is pass/fail on technical acceptability; award will be made to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable, responsible offeror. The government intends to award contingent upon fund availability. Technical questions are due July 1, 2026, at 2:00 pm local time.
