About this opportunity

The Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management Arizona Region seeks Department of Transportation annual safety inspections and minor repairs on 24 trailers at its Phoenix District Office, with quotes due July 28, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. PDT and questions due July 21, 2026. This is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS 811111 (General Automotive Repair), size standard $9 million.

Place of performance is 2020 E. Bell Road, Phoenix, AZ 85022. Inspections must comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations per 49 CFR Parts 390–396 and 399, and be performed by an ASE-certified mechanic or qualified inspector meeting 49 CFR 396.19 qualifications. Work occurs Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–4 p.m., and must begin within 30 days of award and be completed within 120 business days. Contractors must comply with Section 889 of the John S. McCain NDAA regarding covered telecommunications equipment restrictions. Service Contract Act prevailing wage rates apply (Wage Determination No. 2015-5469, Revision 30, effective May 13, 2026).

The base contract period runs August 5, 2026 through December 4, 2026, with four one-year option periods (exercise dates May 14, 2027; May 15, 2028; May 15, 2029; May 15, 2030). The government will award one firm fixed price contract. Evaluation weighs technical capability, past experience, and past performance approximately equally against price. The incumbent contractor is GJH Motors LLC (previous contract award: $14,600). Offerors must be registered in SAM at quote submission and award.
