About this opportunity
The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division in Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price contract for three Towable 1500-lb Capacity Utility Cranes (NSN 1730-01-681-7042) in support of the MH-60R Foreign Military Sales Spanish Armada Program. The procurement will be conducted on a limited competition basis, specifically targeting Columbus Jack Corporation or Dutch Valley Supply Co. as the sole source providers. The government will use FAR 6.302-1 authority, which allows for a single-source procurement when no other suppliers can satisfy agency requirements. Columbus Jack Corporation is identified as the exclusive developer, designer, and manufacturer of the utility crane, owning the proprietary technical data. The government will consider information received prior to the May 29, 2025 closing date, with the understanding that a determination to limit competition is at their sole discretion.
The pre-solicitation notice indicates no specific set-aside designation for this contract opportunity. The potential contractors are Columbus Jack Corporation (CAGE 00994) and Dutch Valley Supply Co. (CAGE 31068), with Columbus Jack being the primary manufacturer. While no specific award value is mentioned, the procurement involves three utility cranes with a 1500-lb capacity. The contract is specifically tailored for the Spanish Armada Program's MH-60R helicopter maintenance requirements. The government emphasizes that they will not pay for any responses and makes no commitments to issue solicitations or make awards. Interested parties can contact Tammy Fossa at tamara.d.fossa.civ@us.navy.mil for additional information about this procurement opportunity.
