About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force United States Air Forces in Europe - Air Forces Africa, through the 496th Contracting Flight at Moron Base, Spain, is seeking to procure various tools and equipment for vehicle maintenance through solicitation F3N7G45140A001. The procurement includes fifteen contract line item numbers (CLINs) covering automotive and maintenance equipment such as tool kits, diagnostic tools, floor jacks, vehicle lifts, wheel alignment machines, storage cabinets, and other specialized equipment. Vendors must submit two-part quotes consisting of both price and technical components, with the technical quote limited to two pages demonstrating ability to meet specified requirements. The evaluation will focus on technical acceptability and price, with the government reviewing the lowest and second lowest-priced vendors first, awarding to the lowest-priced technically acceptable offer. Quote submissions are due via email to max.wazny@us.af.mil by 12:00 PM local time on September 5, 2025, with vendors required to hold their quoted prices firm for 90 calendar days. Delivery must be completed within 30 days of contract award.
This solicitation is unrestricted with no set-aside designation and falls under NAICS code 332216 for handtools and motor vehicle mechanics' manufacturing. The government initially reached out to four vendors to gauge interest, with three expressing willingness to provide quotations, though the procurement is structured as a single source justification due to specific equipment requirements, existing infrastructure considerations, European power standards, and local vendor capabilities. While the estimated contract value is redacted from the available documents, the procurement encompasses fifteen distinct line items of specialized automotive maintenance equipment. The place of performance is located in Seville, Spain (41530), supporting the maintenance and repair operations for a wide range of vehicles. The contract will be established as a Firm Fixed Price arrangement, with the technical requirements specifically addressing the unique operational needs of the European theater, including compatibility with local infrastructure and power standards.
