The contractor must provide two calibration cycles for 109 pieces of medical and dental equipment manufactured by companies including Fluke Biomedical, Fluke Networks, Newport Electronics, Pronk Technologies, Riken Keiki, and TSI Inc. Key requirements include maintaining NIST, OEM, laboratory accreditation, and specialized training certifications, providing comprehensive calibration reports, offering a 90-day service warranty, and ensuring equipment accountability throughout the process. Contractors must submit questions by August 15, 2025 at 1300 JST and submit complete quotes including the RFQ Cover Sheet and SF-1449 form by August 22, 2025 at 1300 JST. The solicitation follows FAR 52.212-1 requirements for commercial items and emphasizes that incomplete documentation will result in quotes not being evaluated or considered for award.
This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations and is open to all qualified contractors. The contract performance period spans from September 1, 2025 to August 30, 2026, with the initial calibration required within 60 days of contract award and a second calibration performed six months later. All work must be performed in Okinawa, Japan, with equipment returned to 3D Medical Logistics Company within 60 days of receipt. The solicitation requires two complete calibration cycles for the 109 pieces of equipment, and contractors are permitted to use alternative shipping companies beyond USPS due to potential challenges with battery-containing equipment. No incumbent contractors or specific award values are mentioned in the available documentation.
