About this opportunity
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service has issued a Special Notice for cultural heritage surveys to be conducted in the Three Fires area. This is not a solicitation, but rather a notification of intent to award a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) Call order for these services. The selected contractor will be tasked with performing a cultural resources survey, including site records, a final report, and a map of findings, to satisfy the current Secretary of the Interior's Standards and Guidelines for Archaeology and Historic Preservation as well as Oregon SHPO Protocol.
The purpose of this Special Notice is to gauge market interest and potential capacity to provide the required cultural heritage services. Interested parties are invited to submit capability statements by May 29, 2024 to the contracting officer. The government will evaluate the submissions to assess the market's ability to meet the service requirements. This BPA Call order will be competitively awarded against previously solicited multiple award schedule BPAs. No feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions. The applicable NAICS code is 541720, Historic and cultural preservation research and development services.
