About this opportunity

The U.S. Coast Guard Training Center in Petaluma, California has issued a Special Notice to award a sole-source purchase order for dumpster emptying service. The Department of Homeland Security's U.S. Coast Guard is the agency responsible for publishing this notice.

The purpose of this Special Notice is to inform interested parties that the Coast Guard intends to award a sole-source purchase order to Recology Sonoma Marin for dumpster emptying service at the Petaluma training center. The government will not be requesting competitive quotes, but any party who believes they can perform this requirement is invited to submit a capability statement by August 22, 2024 for consideration. The Coast Guard will make a determination on whether to conduct a competitive procurement based on the responses received. The contract will incorporate various FAR clauses related to commercial items, prohibited telecommunications equipment/services, and minimum wage requirements.
