About this opportunity

The US Embassy in Paris, France, intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for temporary support services, though the solicitation is not yet ready for release and will be posted on SAM.gov when available. The procurement falls under NAICS code 561210 (Facilities Support Services) and PSC code R425 (Support-Professional: Engineering/Technical), indicating the need for professional engineering and technical support services. All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submitting offers, as required by FAR provision 52.204-7. The government may award the contract based on initial offers without conducting discussions with offerors. Electronic responses must be submitted to ParisContracting@state.gov, with the current response deadline set for September 25, 2025.

This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations, making it available to all qualified contractors regardless of size or socioeconomic status. The resultant contract will be structured as an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) arrangement with a three-month performance period. No information regarding potential incumbents, current contractors, estimated award values, or specific budget ranges has been disclosed in this pre-solicitation notice. The brief contract duration of three months suggests this is for immediate, short-term support needs at the embassy facility. No specific quantities of goods or detailed service timelines beyond the overall three-month contract period have been specified at this early stage of the procurement process.
