About this opportunity
The United States Marine Corps seeks procurement of RF-shielded Tempest Tents for Marine Expeditionary Force rotation deployment, with proposals due September 16, 2026. The procurement is a 100% women-owned small business set-aside. This is a consolidated solicitation: the original August 28, 2026 RFQ (M0068126Q0082) required three units with a September 11 deadline; Amendment 0001 (September 1) reduced the quantity to one unit for that line item; Amendment 0002 (September 10) extended the deadline to September 16 and added a Q&A document clarifying technical requirements. A separate solicitation (M0068126Q00820002) issued September 10 procures one additional Tempest Tent with the same September 16 deadline.
Place of performance is Camp Pendleton North, California, with delivery required six weeks from award date (October 19, 2026 for the later solicitation).
Each tent must be an 11 by 12 feet or larger RF isolation enclosure certified to MIL-STD-188-125 and IEEE 299-2006, with no waivers permitted. Construction requires three-layer CYBER Fabric (copper/silver), stitched seams, lightweight PVC frame, and a patented 32-inch by 70-inch magnetic RF door with continuous sealing. Alternative materials such as copper/nickel or adhesive-bonded seams are rejected unless supported by complete system-level test data. Each unit includes a 250 VAC/500 VDC/30A facility power filter, 120 VAC/15A internal power strip, TRIPP Lite UPS sized to support aggregate loads, and filtered I/O interfaces. The tents must be TAA compliant and USA-manufactured.
NAICS 314910 applies (Textile Bag and Canvas Mills; size standard 500 employees). Evaluation criteria—technical acceptability, price, and past performance—are weighted equally with no stated order of importance. Award will be made to the responsive, responsible quoter offering greatest overall value. Firm fixed-price award. Quotations must remain valid for 60 calendar days.
