About this opportunity
The United States Marine Corps intends to solicit high-performance RF isolation enclosures (Tempest Tents) under a total small business set-aside, with responses due August 14, 2026.
The procurement calls for three RF-shielded tents engineered for EMSEC, secure testing, and laboratory-grade shielding applications. Minimum internal dimensions are 11 feet by 12 feet by 6.5 feet, with external frame size of 12 feet by 13 feet by 7 feet or larger. Each unit must feature three-layer CYBER Fabric construction with copper and silver materials, certified to MIL-STD-188-125 and IEEE 299-2006 standards, delivering effective frequency attenuation from low MHz to 40 GHz. The enclosures must block WiFi (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth, Cellular/5G, GPS, RFID, NFC, and general RF signals.
Each tent includes a 250 VAC/500 VDC 30-ampere facility power filter with 100 dB attenuation, a 120 VAC/15-ampere internal power strip with five outlets, and integrated filtered I/O interfaces including LAN 10G, HDMI, USB-A, and USB-C filters. The structural design comprises a lightweight PVC frame enabling tool-less assembly, a patented 32-inch by 70-inch magnetic door system with continuous RF seal capability, stitched seams, adjustable Velcro tensioning straps, and a heavy-duty vinyl floor. Deliverables also include a TRIPP Lite SMART TOWER, a 4-inch by 3-foot cable sleeve, and an LED light kit.
All units must be TAA-compliant with USA manufacturing origin. NAICS 314910 (Textile Bag and Canvas Mills); PSC 8340 (Tents And Tarpaulins).
