About this opportunity
The United States Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center is conducting market research to identify companies capable of providing teardown, test, evaluation, and repair services for various aircraft jacks used in aviation operations. This sources sought notice, which is not a solicitation but purely for informational and planning purposes, covers ten different types of hydraulic and aircraft jacks including tripod jacks, each with specific National Stock Numbers and part numbers. Interested companies must submit capability statements that demonstrate their repair capabilities, certifications, business size classification, disadvantaged business status, GSA schedule participation, and prior government service experience. The Coast Guard emphasizes that responses should not contain proprietary, classified, or sensitive information and that this notice creates no commitment for contract award. Companies have until October 22, 2025, at 5:00 PM EST to submit their capability statements to the designated contracting officer at William.T.Swinson3@uscg.mil.
This opportunity does not include any set-aside designations, making it open to all qualified contractors regardless of size or socioeconomic status. No incumbent contractors or potential award values are mentioned in the available documentation, as this represents early market research rather than a competitive procurement action. The quantities specified range from 6 to 12 units per jack type, with the total requirement encompassing 96 individual aircraft jacks across the ten different models and configurations. The Coast Guard has not provided timeline requirements for service delivery, focusing instead on gathering information about market capabilities and capacity to support future procurement decisions. Companies responding to this sources sought will need to separately respond to any future solicitation that may be issued based on the results of this market research effort.
