Notice text
The United States Marshals Service (USMS), in support of the Judicial Security Division (JSD)'s Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU), is seeking information on a University's or College's capabilities to conduct a scientific research study on risk factors for targeted violence toward protected judicial officials. The requirement consists of conducting research that is empirically-valid, methodologically-sound, behaviorally-based, and operationally-relevant. It would occur under the oversight of the JSD-BAU's Operational Psychologist, and would include all phases of the research process, such as development, design, data collection, statistical analysis, and publication and presentation of findings.
