About this opportunity

This pre-solicitation notice seeks a tanker voyage charter for the Middle East region. The Department of the Navy's Military Sealift Command requires one double-hull tanker capable of carrying a minimum of 310,000 barrels of clean product within vessel's natural segregation in designated cargo tanks with double-valve isolation. The intended period of performance is one voyage from Sitra, Bahrain to Jebel Ali and Fujairah in the UAE, and Diego Garcia, with laydays commencing October 10 and canceling October 11, 2020. Responses are due by September 30, 2020.

There is no set-aside designation for this procurement. The NAICS code is 483111 and PSC code is V099. As this work will be performed entirely outside the United States and its territories, the contracting office has deemed this a full and open competition available to all responsible sources. Key details include the minimum 310,000 barrel cargo capacity and single voyage timeline between the specified Middle Eastern ports.
