About this opportunity
The U.S. Coast Guard is procuring Tail Rotor Servo Assemblies for MH-60T aircraft under solicitation 70Z03825QJ0000137, seeking newly manufactured commercial items that meet strict Federal Aviation Administration airworthiness requirements. This combined synopsis/solicitation requests quotations for an Indefinite Delivery Requirements contract with firm-fixed pricing, consisting of one base year and up to four option years, with a maximum duration of five years. All parts must have clear traceability to the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), specifically Parker Hannifin Corporation or Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, and vendors must provide a Certificate of Airworthiness (FAA 8130 preferred or equivalent EASA certification) along with a Certificate of Conformance. The evaluation will be based on technical acceptability, focusing on the ability to provide parts from approved OEMs, with award made to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable offeror representing the best value to the government. Quotations are due by June 30, 2025, at 2:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time, with an anticipated award date of August 31, 2025.
This is an unrestricted procurement with no set-aside designation, allowing all responsible sources to submit quotations. The contract will procure an estimated 36 servo assemblies over the five-year period, with 6-8 units anticipated per period, specifically NSN 1650-01-652-2405 with part numbers 2227000-16 and 70410-26520-043. Funding will come from Operations and Support funds for Fiscal Years 2025-2030, though the total contract value will be determined based on unit pricing submitted by the awarded vendor. Parker Hannifin Corporation and Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation are identified as both the OEMs and the only approved sources of supply for these critical helicopter components. The procurement supports the Coast Guard's fleet maintenance requirements, ensuring the safety and airworthiness of their aircraft operations through the acquisition of certified, traceable parts suitable for installation on USCG aircraft.
