About this opportunity
Naval Air Systems Command is soliciting quotes for fabrication of 27 government-designed mechanical parts and assemblies for T6B Simulated Power Control Levers, with quotes due by 1000 Eastern Time on May 18, 2026.
Delivery is required within 8 weeks of contract award to Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division in Orlando, Florida. This is a firm-fixed-price COTS purchase order under NAICS 332710 (Machine Shops) with no set-aside. The requirement encompasses CNC machining and sheet metal fabrication using Aluminum 6061 or Copper C360 (Brass), with components specified to tolerances of ±0.005 inches, 63 microinch surface finish, and maximum file dimensions of 35 by 56 by 35 inches. All parts are documented in a Technical Data Package containing 3D CAD models and engineering drawings; the TDP carries Distribution Statement D (DoD and U.S. DoD Contractors only) classification and will be transmitted securely upon request.
Technical acceptability requires meeting all item specifications per the TDP, achieving CMMC Level 2 (Self) Assessment, meeting the 8-week delivery schedule, and maintaining active SAM registration with the correct NAICS code at proposal submission. Award will be made on a best-value basis with past performance weighted more heavily than price. Offerors must submit two examples of past performance for similar procurements provided to NAWCTSD within the last three years, including effort description, value, government point of contact, and performance dates.
Contact Specialist Julide Alonso (julide.n.alonso.civ@us.navy.mil) or Contracting Officer Jonathan Abbott (jonathan.d.abbott.civ@us.navy.mil) for questions or to request the TDP.
