About this opportunity

This pre-solicitation notice announces the Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) intent to extend existing housing inspection services contracts HSFE80-13-D-0070 and HSFE80-13-D-0074. The contracts provide unique housing inspection damage assessment field services to support FEMA's emergency disaster declaration mission by enabling on-site home inspections and verification of disaster-related property losses. The verified damage assessments provide the basis for survivor grant eligibility determinations. The deadline for responses to this pre-solicitation notice is December 23, 2018.

The contract extensions are not set aside for small businesses. The existing contracts provide housing inspection services and support FEMA's efforts to maintain capability while developing a new solicitation for these services to be competed in calendar year 2019. The extensions will bridge any potential gaps in coverage by continuing services under the established indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contracts. No set-aside designations, NAICS codes, or potential award values were provided.
