About this opportunity
The United States Marine Corps seeks preventative maintenance services for six Tennant sweepers and one Tennant scrubber located at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, with proposals due May 27. The procurement is set aside for Women-Owned Small Businesses (WOSB), including economically disadvantaged women-owned small businesses (EDWOSB). Amendment 0002, effective May 20, extended the response deadline from May 19 to May 27 due to lack of industry response; offerors must acknowledge receipt of the amendment prior to the deadline.
Place of performance is Camp Pendleton North, California. The equipment operates in warehouse environments. The contractor must provide quarterly preventative maintenance inspections (28 total annually in June, September, December, and March) covering operational controls, hoppers, filters, belts, brushes, bearings, drive motors, chains, side brush motors, and batteries, with worn parts replacement as needed. The contractor may perform up to three diagnostic trips annually as authorized by the Technical Point of Contact to address malfunctions; additional trips require written Contracting Officer approval. Diagnostic trips must be scheduled within three business days of notification with findings submitted within five business days and repairs completed within ten business days unless parts lead time extends the timeline. Service tickets documenting all work must be submitted within five business days of completion. Materials and parts exceeding $2,500 require three supplier quotations and are provided at contractor cost without markup. All services are provided Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with weekend and holiday work by prior arrangement. The NAICS code is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance; PSC is J039.
