About this opportunity

The Air Force Sustainment Center is conducting market research to identify sources capable of providing repair, manufacturing, sustaining engineering, software support, program management, and related services for the AN/GSM-397 Electronic Systems Test Set and associated components supporting the F-15 aircraft, with responses due by July 31, 2026. This is an RFI, not a solicitation; responses will be treated as information only and will not form the basis for contract award.

The Government possesses Design Authority and Document Change Authority but lacks proprietary technical data, software, drawings, schematics, source code, interface documentation, and depot-level test procedures necessary to independently perform this effort. Respondents are encouraged to identify Commercial-Off-The-Shelf, modified COTS, Nondevelopmental Item, or commercial service approaches. Attachment 1 identifies 24 forecasted National Stock Numbers spanning power supplies, sensors, circuit card assemblies, test adapters, transformer assemblies, electrical chassis units, plug-in electrical units, and a radio frequency bolometer; this list is subject to change.

The contractor shall furnish all material, support equipment, tooling, software, test equipment, engineering support, and services required. The RFI is issued for market research purposes to overcome barriers to competition. No set-aside applies. NAICS code 811210 (Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance) governs. Samples are not available for evaluation.
