Answer
1.
A.1 Price/Cost
What is the difference between the Monthly Preventive Maint. (PM) service for Instrument trays (0001) and Montly Instrumentation for Instrument trays (0002)*
*The description looks to be the same. Am I correct in that the facility wants instruments and trays (a total of 20 trays/month) and including the Clinic, Laboratory and repair bin, serviced two days per month. Is 0001 for day one (1) and 0002 for day two (2)?
There is not a difference between the monthly Preventive Maintenance and Monthly Instrumentation for instrument trays. As Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Instrumentation are one in the same line items will be updated in the solicitation.
Please refer to the subsequent amendment to this solicitation. Contractors shall use A.1 REVISED PRICE/COST SCHEDULE & ITEM INFORMATION to prepare their offer and their pricing for line items.

Does the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation under solicitation number 36C25618Q0343 contain requirements similar to a current contract?
If possible, please provide the current contract number.
Or, is this a new requirement for the government?
Solicitation 36C25618Q0343 corresponds to a new requirement for the facility. To the best of the government s knowledge this requirement is not related to a previously awarded contract nor is related to an action that was previously done. To the best of the government s knowledge, instrument repair (and related services) have been "piecemeal" up to this point in the facility. A contract is therefore needed for these services.

In lieu of sending by e-mail, eligible offerors are authorized to send/submit their offers by mail (USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL) or by courier providing their offers are received on or before the close date/time of the solicitation (March 7th, 2018 by 3:00 p.m. CST (New Orleans, LA).
