About this opportunity

The Naval Air Systems Command issued Special Notice N6134025R0043 regarding the Surface Navy Curriculum and Training Device Development (SNCTDD) program. Originally posted on December 18, 2025, with a due date of February 18, 2026, this special notice was designated as a total small business set-aside opportunity. The notice announced an industry day event and provided guidance for interested contractors to participate in discussions regarding the development of curriculum and training devices for the surface Navy. The notice was published under NAICS code 541330 (Engineering Services) and PSC code 6910 (Training Aids). However, as of February 4, 2026, the solicitation has been cancelled.

The initial purpose of this special notice was to solicit industry participation in the development of surface Navy curriculum and training devices through an industry day event and subsequent one-on-one discussions between vendors and government representatives. The government had scheduled the industry day for February 18, 2026, at Central Florida Tech Grove in Orlando, Florida, with attendance requiring notification by February 11, 2026, and submission of attendee information including name, title, email, phone, citizenship, and event participation details. Eligibility was limited to small business concerns as indicated by the total small business set-aside designation. Draft documents were anticipated to be released on February 13, 2026, and one-on-one sessions were limited to six attendees total for discussions involving proprietary information. As of the most recent update dated February 4, 2026, the Naval Air Systems Command has cancelled both the industry day and the pre-solicitation notice due to a revised acquisition strategy, and the government is no longer accepting proposals or soliciting further information from industry regarding this program.
