About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure 50 units of NSN 7H-1005-012483042, an electric supply component categorized under guns through 30mm. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1 authority, as they do not own the data or rights needed to purchase or contract repair from additional sources, and it has been determined uneconomical to buy the data rights or reverse engineer the part. This is a pre-solicitation notice posted on April 30, 2025, with a due date of September 30, 2025, and delivery terms are FOB origin. All firms must include their CAGE code on solicitation requests, and interested parties have 45 days from publication to submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements for consideration. The government may determine not to compete this contract based on responses received, and commercial item identification must be provided within 15 days of the notice.

This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations and is open to all responsible sources who can demonstrate their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. No incumbent contractors or potential award values are specified in the notice, though the specific quantity requirement is clearly stated as 50 units of the electric supply component. The technical data package version is 005 with reference number 6309885, and the procurement falls under PSC category 1005 for guns through 30mm. The timeline spans five months from the posting date to the due date, providing adequate time for interested vendors to respond and for the government to evaluate submissions.
