Update #1 ·
This Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought is submitted on behalf of the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), to supplement Market Research. The USCG Office of Shore Forces (CG-741) has a requirement to obtain digital subscription services for maritime regulatory
publications to support its Marine Inspectors (MIs) in the performance of their duties.
Please review the attached Statement of Work (SOW). The USCG does not anticipate changes to the SOW; however, it is labeled as "DRAFT" since we are still conducting
Market Research.
In addition to the stated requirements of the SOW, access to the standards and publications from the following professional organizations would be beneficial and enhance the MI's capability to perform their duties, but are not required:
National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), and American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) standards and publications.
Vendors who can fulfill the requirements as listed in the SOW, or who have questions or comments concerning the requirement, should notify the Contracting Officer, Michael Bumgardner, via email at Michael.A.Bumgardner@uscg.mil
Vendor responses should affirmatively acknowledge their capability to fulfill the entire requirement and include supporting documentation confirming their ability to meet the requirement. Vendors may include their capabilities statement if desired. Please do not post responses to FBO.
This RFI should not be considered a notice to proceed. This RFI does not commit the USCG to a solicitation nor does it obligate the USCG to reimburse any vendor
for responses to this posted RFI.
