About this opportunity

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is seeking quotes for a telecommunications project to provide, install, and maintain a 50MB Ethernet connection between two specific locations in Virginia. The procurement involves establishing a network link between Building 46, Room 156 in Richmond and Building 160's Switch Room in Fort Walker, Bowling Green. This solicitation is structured as a Request for Quote (RFQ) under NAICS code 517111, targeting commercial telecommunications services. The agency will utilize a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection process to evaluate submitted quotes, which means vendors will be assessed primarily on meeting technical requirements and offering the most competitive pricing. Quotes are due by March 24, 2025, and must include detailed pricing information with both monthly recurring and non-recurring charges, following specific guidelines outlined in the solicitation documents.

The contract opportunity is not designated as a small business set-aside, despite initial language suggesting otherwise, and will be open to various telecommunications service providers. The product service code for this telecommunications requirement is DG11, indicating a specific category of network and communication services. While specific award values are not disclosed, the procurement involves a precise technical scope of connecting two distinct facility locations with a 50MB Ethernet connection. The places of performance are clearly defined as 8000 Jefferson Davis Highway in Richmond, VA and 18482 4th Street in Bowling Green, VA. The solicitation incorporates standard Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses for commercial products and services, and vendors must adhere to the specified terms and conditions outlined in the attached documentation.
