About this opportunity
The Defense Information Systems Agency is seeking a telecommunications service provider to furnish, install, and maintain a 1GB commercial lease line connecting two locations in Florida. This request for quote (RFQ) follows a combined synopsis/solicitation format under FAR Subpart 12.6 for commercial products and services, with the telecommunications requirement falling under NAICS code 517111 and product service code DG11. Contractors must submit quotes with prices clearly identified as monthly recurring charges and/or non-recurring charges, following the specifications outlined in the IQO Desk book for contract line item numbers (CLINs). The evaluation will be based on lowest price technically acceptable criteria, and the solicitation incorporates standard FAR clauses for commercial products and services including instructions to offerors, representations and certifications, and required contract terms and conditions. The proposal due date has been extended to September 25, 2025, with service commencement required by December 26, 2025.
This procurement is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside, restricting participation to qualified small business entities under the telecommunications resellers industry classification (NAICS 517121). The solicitation does not identify any incumbent contractors or provide specific award value ranges, though it requires detailed pricing breakdowns for both recurring and non-recurring service components. The requirement centers on establishing and maintaining a single 1GB commercial telecommunications circuit between two unspecified locations within Florida, with installation and ongoing maintenance services included in the scope of work. Performance will occur at the two Florida-based locations requiring connectivity, and the government expects service activation by the December 26, 2025 deadline following contract award. The solicitation references existing DITCO Basic Agreement terms and conditions that will govern the contractual relationship with the selected telecommunications provider.
