The anticipated contract period spans a base year with four one-year option periods, potentially running through May 2029. Services will include comprehensive instrument processing: transportation, decontamination, machine washing, wrapping, sterilization, quality assurance checks, and functional testing, with a required delivery turnaround of 2-7 days. The contractor will be responsible for processing instruments at facilities in Saitama, Chiba, Tokyo, and Shimonoseki, Japan, following strict standards from the Navy Bureau of Medicine, Joint Commission, and AAMI.
