The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Integrated Service Network 23 is conducting market research to identify vendors capable of providing hematology-oncology medical services at the St. Cloud Veterans Affairs Health Care System, with sources-sought responses due by October 14, 2026. This is market research only; no contract will be awarded from this announcement, though responses may inform eventual solicitation strategy. No set-aside applies.
Place of performance is 4801 Veterans Drive, St. Cloud, Minnesota 56303. The requirement calls for one board-certified hematology-oncology physician and one registered nurse working 40 hours weekly plus up to five additional hours, with clinic hours Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, extended infusion clinic hours 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and on-call availability (within 15 minutes by phone, 60 minutes on-site). The physician must hold board certification in hematology-oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, maintain current BLS certification, possess an unrestricted medical license, and spend approximately 97% of time in direct patient care. The registered nurse must be licensed, hold current CPR/BLS certifications, and have at least one year of direct patient care experience within the past three years.
Both personnel must complete VA credentialing and privileging through VetPro, pass background investigations, obtain PIV badges, comply with infection control protocols including immunizations and TB testing, and maintain current NPI and DEA registrations. All personnel must complete mandatory VA training including CPRS, CBI, privacy/HIPAA, infection control, and active threat training. Contractor invoices through the Tungsten electronic system and accepts VA payment as payment in full with no billing to veterans or third-party insurers.
