About this opportunity

The Air Force Test Center is conducting market research to identify potential sources for spectrum analyzers to be installed at Edwards Air Force Base, with responses due by July 23, 2026. This is a Request for Information only; no solicitation currently exists and no contract will be awarded from this notice.

The requirement calls for spectrum analyzers with a minimum of 200 MHz resolution bandwidth, combined low phase noise and high DANL (displayed average noise level), and SCPI record/replay capability. The government projects a need to scan frequencies from approximately 50 kHz up to 40 GHz, though equipment outside these parameters may be considered acceptable if useful for government purposes. The analyzers will be used during various test phases in the anechoic chamber to verify correct RF signals, check for undesired RF signals, and record sampled signals for follow-on analysis and reporting. The existing equipment is over 15 years old and reaching end of life.

Interested vendors should submit company name, SAM Unique Entity ID, Cage Code, address, points of contact, phone numbers, email addresses, and a market research quote identifying specific product offerings. No reimbursement will be made for response costs. The market research aims to identify potentially qualified sources and their size classifications (small business, large business, etc.).
