About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Special Operations Command, through the 1st Special Ops Contracting Squadron, is consolidating three contract requirements for Mission Enhancement Support Services to support the Special Tactics Training Squadron. The services fall under NAICS code 561990 (All Other Support Services) and PSC code S299 (Housekeeping- Other), though the specific scope of work is not detailed in this pre-solicitation notice. This notice serves as an announcement of the government's intent to consolidate these requirements in accordance with FAR 7.107-5(c), establishing that consolidation is necessary and justified because the benefits of the consolidated acquisition would substantially exceed those of an alternate approach. A redacted Consolidation Determination document has been attached outlining the rationale for this consolidation decision. The due date for this pre-solicitation notice is February 26, 2026, just seven days after posting on February 19, 2026.
This procurement is set aside for total small business participation, meaning only small business concerns are eligible to compete for the award. The pre-solicitation notice does not identify any current incumbents or incumbent contractors, nor does it provide specific budget ranges or anticipated award values for the consolidated requirement. No numerical details regarding quantities, service duration, or timeline for performance are disclosed in this notice, as it is strictly a notification of intent and consolidation determination rather than a formal solicitation for offers. Interested small businesses should monitor for the formal solicitation to follow, which will contain the detailed statement of work, evaluation criteria, technical requirements, and pricing instructions.
