About this opportunity

The Department of the Army, through the Army Contracting Command-Detroit Arsenal, has issued a Special Notice announcing an Industry Day event for the Capability Program Executive (CPE) Mission Autonomy program. Hosted by the National Advanced Mobility Consortium (NAMC), this event is scheduled for Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 7:30 AM EST at the Hyatt Regency in Arlington, Virginia, with optional follow-up one-on-one sessions on Thursday, March 19, 2026. The Special Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a government commitment or result in prototype awards. The event aims to brief industry stakeholders on operational challenges associated with the Mission Autonomy program while gathering feedback from contractors on autonomous standards and architectures.

The primary objective of the Industry Day is to inform industry partners of key operational problems related to the CPE Mission Autonomy program and to discuss the forthcoming release of Request for Prototype Proposals (RPPs). The RSVP deadline is 3:00 PM EST on March 11, 2026, with registration available at https://www.namconsortium.org/form/cpe-ma-industry-day. NAMC members may register through standard consortium procedures, while non-NAMC members who are U.S. persons are welcome to attend but must submit a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement and a valid DD Form 2345 (Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement) prior to the deadline. Draft RPPs will be made available to NAMC members on March 11, 2026, and non-members may request them only if they have submitted a fully executed DD Form 2345. Interested contractors should direct questions to Alessandro Padro (alessandro.v.padro.civ@army.mil) or Major Benjamin Gettler (benjamin.t.gettler.mil@army.mil).
