About this opportunity

Defense Logistics Agency Aviation intends to procure F-15 Armament and MUSTANG tester electronic assemblies and components via sole-source award to Boeing, with responses from alternative sources due by October 2, 2026. The procurement covers six NSNs and part numbers used across the MUSTANG tester and three F-15 Armament test systems: the Stores Management System Test Set (SMSTS) A/E24T-198, Stores Management Sub-System Test Set (SMSSTS) A/E24T-197, and Armament Circuits Preload Test Set (ACPTS) A/E24T-199.

DLA Aviation conducted this sources-sought market research to identify potential manufacturers qualified to produce these items. Boeing is the original equipment manufacturer and sole known source because the Government does not possess data, drawings, schematics, or technical documentation required to produce form-fit-function compatible components and ensure system integration. Boeing alone holds the technical expertise, drawings, and facilities necessary for manufacture.

DLA intends to award under FAR 6.103-1 (only one responsible source, no other supplies will satisfy requirements). The parts list cannot be subdivided for competitive bidding. Interested parties must submit response capability statements to Meagan Peacock Edge (meagan.edge.1@us.af.mil) or Robert Berg (robert.berg.9@us.af.mil) by October 2, 2026, to be considered as alternative sources.

NAICS 336413 (Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing); PSC 5998 (Electrical And Electronic Assemblies, Boards, Cards, And Associated Hardware).
