SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS
For
Interior/Exterior Electrical Services (construction) Requirements Contract
THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY. The Fort Hood Directorate of Contracting is seeking information from industry for preliminary planning purposes. This is not a Request for Proposal. The information gathered as a result of this synopsis will be used to identify small business firms for the purpose of determining how the procurement will be conducted. This sources sought announcement is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or to award a contract. The anticipated procurement will be a firm fixed price construction contract. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests.
NOTE: IF YOU ARE NOT A SMALL BUSINESS, DO NOT SUBMIT A RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT: The work to be performed consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment to provide Interior Electrical Services in permanent and mobilization buildings (exclusive of family housing areas) and Exterior Electrical Services (inclusive of family housing areas) at Fort Hood, Texas. Both line and ground electrical work is required for this action. The work includes management of multiple task orders, preparation of progress schedules and subcontractor agreements; preparation of certified payroll records, development and adherence to approved safety plans the quality control plans, daily clean up of job sites, and pre- and final inspections for acceptance of completed work. The magnitude of this procurement is estimated to be between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00.
Firms qualified as small business and who are interested in bidding for this work must respond to this announcement by 4:00 p.m., CDT, on Tuesday, March 22, 2016. Responses must include the following information:
1. Response to the attached Market Survey
2. Provide a capabilities brief, including your firm's business type (sole proprietorship, partnership, incorporation information, etc.); your business size status under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 238210, Electrical Contractors (small business, small disadvantaged business, service disabled veteran owned small business, HubZone certified business, 8(a) certification, etc.)
3. Describe relevant work your firm has performed within the last three years
