About this opportunity

The Medical Readiness Contracting Office-West (MRCO-W) for the Department of the Army Medical Command is conducting market research to identify potential suppliers for radiopharmaceuticals and cold kits for the William Beaumont Army Medical Center's Nuclear Medicine Department. The procurement specifically requires 15 20-Vial Kit Sestamibi, 17 7.5Ci Technelie Generators Mo99/Tc99m, and 80 XE-133 20mCi vials annually to support medical diagnostic operations. Vendors must demonstrate that all employees preparing the supplies are licensed nuclear pharmacists, interns, or technologists authorized to work in their facilities, and must be capable of hand-delivering isotopes and radiopharmaceuticals within 24 hours of ordering. Interested companies must submit capability statements addressing technical requirements, organizational details including SAM UEI number and business size under NAICS 325412, and documentation supporting their ability to meet government technical requirements. The sources sought notice response deadline is July 24, 2025, no later than 10AM Mountain Standard Time, with submissions required via email to Ms. Fabiola Palma-Trujillo and Mr. Christopher A. Gregory. This market research effort falls under NAICS code 325412 for pharmaceutical preparation manufacturing and may inform future competitive solicitation decisions.

This sources sought notice does not include any set-aside designations and is open to all qualified vendors regardless of business size. No current contractors or incumbents are identified in the documentation, as this represents initial market research rather than a recompetition of existing services. While specific contract values are not disclosed, the government anticipates structuring any future procurement as a 12-month base period contract with one 12-month option period, potentially spanning up to 24 months total. The annual quantities specified include 15 Sestamibi kits, 17 Technetium generators, and 80 Xenon-133 vials, indicating a consistent but specialized demand for nuclear medicine materials. Vendors must also provide a secure online dose ordering solution compliant with Nuclear Regulatory Commission and HIPAA regulations, demonstrating the specialized nature and regulatory complexity of this pharmaceutical supply requirement. The 24-hour delivery requirement to the Nuclear Medicine Department emphasizes the time-sensitive nature of radioactive materials used in medical diagnostics.
