About this opportunity

The Department of the Interior, through its Acquisition Services Directorate and Interior Business Center, issued a Sources Sought Notice on March 20, 2026, for DOI Wellness Center Operations at the Stuart Lee Udall Building in Washington, DC. This notice is classified under NAICS Code 621999 (All Other Miscellaneous Ambulatory Health Care Services) and the Medical-Nursing PSC category. The Sources Sought Notice is an information-gathering exercise to identify vendors capable of performing wellness center operations and holding the necessary certifications. Responses are strictly voluntary and do not constitute a solicitation or create any government obligation to award a contract or reimburse costs. This notice serves solely for planning and information purposes as the government prepares for an eventual formal solicitation.

The government seeks vendor capability information regarding the operation of a wellness center providing nursing services, including a full-time Nurse Manager and supplemental registered or licensed practical nurses to serve approximately 1,000 annual visits and coordinate four to six wellness seminars and three to six special events annually. Interested vendors must submit responses electronically by March 30, 2026, at 11:00 AM Eastern Time to Contracting Officer Nick Lewicki at Nicholas_lewicki@ibc.doi.gov in .doc, .docx, or .PDF format, limited to five pages (excluding cover sheet and Section 2), and must include company information, capability assessments, feedback on the draft Statement of Work, and qualifications. Eligible contractors should possess relevant nursing certifications, demonstrated federal contracting experience, and may include small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned businesses, HUBZone, women-owned, or economically disadvantaged women-owned business enterprises. The contract will span five years—one base year plus four option years—beginning June 3, 2026, with wellness center operations conducted Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM, excluding federal holidays.

This is being issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation or obligation on the part of the Government. Neither unsolicited quotes nor any other kinds of offers will be considered at this time. No entitlement to payment by the Government of direct or indirect costs or charges will arise as a result of the submission of information in response to this Sources Sought.
