About this opportunity
The Indian Health Service, Albuquerque Area Office, is conducting a sources-sought survey with a July 20, 2026 response deadline to identify vendors capable of providing hospital laundry and linen delivery and pickup services at the Mescalero Service Unit. This is market research to determine set-aside eligibility, not a solicitation; no payment will be made for responses.
The notice seeks vendors qualified to ensure consistent availability of clean linens for direct patient care, maintain infection control compliance, and support patient safety. NAICS code 812320 (Drycleaning and Laundry Services, except Coin-Operated) applies; respondents may propose alternative codes with rationale.
Indian Health Service must apply the Buy Indian Act (25 U.S.C. 47) to evaluate Indian Economic Enterprises (IEE) and Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE) for set-aside authorization. Responses must include company name, Unique Entity Identifier, SAM.gov registration confirmation, and business-size certifications for HUBZone, ISBEE, small-business, and other applicable designations. IEE-status respondents must complete the IHS IEE Representation Form (January 2022), certifying that an Indian-owned entity maintains at least 51 percent ownership at the time of offer submission, contract award, and throughout performance. False certification violates 18 U.S.C. 1001; performance-period violations incur penalties under 31 U.S.C. 3729–3731 and 18 U.S.C. 287.
