About this opportunity

The U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL) is seeking sources for a laser illumination system to provide steady state visible wavelength illumination for ultra-high speed optical imaging at frame rates up to 1 million frames per second for high-rate materials characterization experiments. The required system must have a minimum power of 350 watts in the visible wavelength, provide pulsed laser pulses as short as 25 nanoseconds, and have adjustable optics to vary the illuminated area. Interested parties are requested to respond within 5 business days, providing details on their ability to meet the specifications, business size and socioeconomic status, and past performance. The anticipated delivery timeframe is 12 weeks after contract award.

This opportunity is not set-aside for any particular business size or socioeconomic status. The proposed solicitation number is W911QX24Q0310, and the contract will be awarded by the Department of the Army Materiel Command, Army Contracting Command Aberdeen Proving Ground. No potential incumbents or current contractors are named, and the government has not specified any award value or budget range.
