About this file

This document is a Salient Characteristics Commercial Availability Certification for a laser illumination system required by the U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL). The Government is seeking one (1) laser illumination system that can provide steady state visible wavelength illumination for ultra-high speed optical imaging at frame rates up to 1 million frames per second for high-rate materials characterization experiments. The required system must have a minimum power of 350 watts in the visible wavelength, provide pulsed laser pulses as short as 25 nanoseconds, and have adjustable optics to vary the illuminated area. The Contractor shall deliver the product within 12 weeks after contract award to the ARL location. The related federal contract opportunity is a Sources Sought for this laser illumination system, with a Solicitation Number of W911QX24Q0310, issued by the Department of the Army Materiel Command Army Contracting Command Aberdeen Proving Ground.
