About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency-Aberdeen, on behalf of the Army Integrated Logistics Supply Center, is soliciting sources for computer hardware components and peripheral equipment to support the Joint Battle Command Platform (JBC-P), the Army's friendly force tracking system that provides soldiers with satellite network connectivity, secure data encryption, and advanced logistics capabilities. The specific items being procured include keyboards, digital computers, display units, and docking stations identified by National Stock Numbers and part numbers, all manufactured under CAGE code 32865. Potential contractors must demonstrate their capability to manufacture and supply the same or similar parts by submitting detailed documentation including company information, CAGE code, past government and commercial contract performance data, and technical points of contact. Evaluation will focus on contractors' experience with comparable computer hardware and installation kits, qualifications of engineering staff, ability to manage obsolescence, and capacity to meet long-term delivery schedules under fixed quantity arrangements. The Sources Sought Announcement was posted on January 29, 2026, with responses due by February 13, 2026, and the government anticipates releasing a formal solicitation following this pre-solicitation phase.
This announcement uses no set-aside designation, and no incumbent contractor or specific award value is identified in the notice. The government does not possess the technical data package for these components, and it is not available for release to potential contractors. Respondents must address supply chain risk mitigation by identifying problematic components to source, detailing their obsolescence management processes and monitoring tools, and explaining their capability to identify alternatives for unavailable materials. The questionnaire requires companies to confirm their ability to meet long-term delivery schedules and discuss any supply chain vendors that could impede performance. While specific quantity requirements and award values are not disclosed in this pre-solicitation notice, the focus on JBC-P Block II hardware indicates this is part of a substantial modernization effort for Army command and control systems, likely requiring sustained production and delivery capabilities over an extended period.
