About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center at Hill Air Force Base is conducting a Sources Sought market research effort to identify potential small business sources for procuring specialized test equipment. Specifically, the agency seeks two Keysight/Agilent 8753ES S-parameter Network Analyzers with one 85033E 3.5mm calibration kit for testing a DSU-33D/B Proximity Sensor. The procurement targets small businesses, including 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran Owned, Hubzone, and Women-Owned small business concerns under NAICS code 334515. Interested vendors must respond by March 27, 2025, at 3pm MST, submitting details such as company name, CAGE code, point of contact information, experience with government funding processes, Small Business status, SAM registration, and product warranty information. The government will use the responses to determine the most appropriate acquisition strategy and assess whether a total Small Business Set-Aside is feasible.
The Sources Sought notice does not specify a predetermined award value or budget range but indicates a focused procurement of two network analyzers and one calibration kit. The equipment specifications include a 30kHz to 6GHz frequency range, up to 110 dB dynamic range, two measurement channels, and electronic calibration options. Delivery is planned for Hill Air Force Base at two potential locations. No incumbent contractors are mentioned in the documentation. The NAICS code 334515 has a size standard of 750 employees, which will help determine small business eligibility. Vendors are encouraged to provide information about anticipated teaming arrangements and describe similar services provided to government and commercial customers in the past three years. The government emphasizes that this is a market research tool and respondents will not be compensated for their time in preparing the response.
