About this opportunity
The U.S. Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center at Hill Air Force Base is seeking information from potential vendors capable of supplying 2-Way, 5-Way, and 10-Way Digital Array Row Transmit Receivers (DART), Data Register Bypass Cables, and DART Flex Cable Mod Kits for the AN/FPS-117 Radar, a major weapon system. The purpose is to determine if supplies may be available from sources other than the original equipment manufacturer, Lockheed Martin, in order to potentially recover cost through competition or avoid unacceptable delays. Interested parties are requested to submit capability statements by August 30, 2024. The government reserves the right to set aside the requirement for small, 8(a), women-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, economically disadvantaged women-owned small business, or HUBZone businesses based on the responses received.
This pre-solicitation notice does not identify any specific set-aside designations. The current contractor for these items is Lockheed Martin. The government has not provided any information about potential award values or budget ranges. The key numerical details are the requirement for 2-Way, 5-Way, and 10-Way DARTs, Data Register Bypass Cables, and DART Flex Cable Mod Kits for the AN/FPS-117 Radar.
