About this opportunity
The US Marshals Service (USMS) is conducting market research to identify potential sources for a comprehensive information and knowledge sharing platform specifically designed for acquisition professionals. The platform will encompass acquisition news, case law, newsletters, resources, and training materials to support continuous learning and professional development within the DOJ/USMS acquisition workforce. Interested companies are invited to submit responses by 1:00pm EDT on April 30, 2025, to Kim Ramsay via email, with detailed submissions required to include company profiles, capability statements, UEI numbers, and relevant documentation. Respondents must demonstrate expertise in web-based information services, with the opportunity classified under NAICS code 519290 for Web Search Portals and All Other Information Services. The market research is purely informational, and submission of response materials is voluntary, with no guarantee of subsequent contract award.
The pre-solicitation notice does not indicate a specific set-aside designation, meaning the opportunity appears open to all qualifying businesses. The size standard for the NAICS code is established at 1,000 employees, which provides flexibility for small and medium-sized businesses to participate. Potential respondents are encouraged to highlight existing commercial IT platforms, current performance history, and established contracts such as GSA or NASA SEWP to demonstrate capabilities. Submissions should include company websites, demonstration videos, and specific examples of information relevant to the DOJ/USMS Judicial Acquisition Resource (JAR) needs. While no specific contract value or budget range is disclosed, the comprehensive nature of the platform suggests a potentially significant procurement opportunity for qualified vendors with robust information and knowledge management solutions.
