About this opportunity

Buckley Space Force Base, a component of Air Force Space Command, is conducting market research via sources sought for one 18-foot pontoon boat to support the base's Morale, Welfare, and Recreation program, with responses due by June 9, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Mountain Time. This is a market research effort, not a commitment to issue a solicitation or award a contract.

The pontoon boat must accommodate 8–10 passengers and include an outboard motor rated between 50 and 90 horsepower, paired with a road-legal galvanized or aluminum boat trailer equipped with winch and tie-downs. Place of performance is Buckley Space Force Base, Colorado. Delivery must occur within 60 days of order receipt; vendors should specify fastest delivery time achievable to the base. The delivery driver must be capable of passing a background check for base access.

The government is soliciting three categories of information: fastest delivery timeline post-award, warranty structure (standard commercial and extended options), and company credentials including name, address, point of contact, telephone and email, CAGE/DUNS number, and any applicable pre-priced contract vehicle reference. Responses should be emailed to SSgt Ethan Sullivan (ethan.sullivan@spaceforce.mil) and Lt Andrew Flamm (andrew.flamm.1@spaceforce.mil). The contracting officer may post an update after the deadline providing consolidated responses or requesting additional information. NAICS 336612 (Boat Building); PSC 1990 (Miscellaneous Vessels).
