About this opportunity

The United States Department of Agriculture Forest Service is seeking a structural tent rental for the Gila National Forest Fire Cache in support of fire management operations. The solicitation (No. 127EAV25Q0010) requires a 120' x 100' square tubing tent to serve as an extended warehouse and staging area for fire supply storage for Type I, II, and III Incident Management Teams. The tent must be capable of withstanding strong winds, have panels on all four sides, and accommodate government-supplied shelving with forklift accessibility. Offers are due by April 25, 2025, at 1600 Mountain Standard Time and must be submitted via email to Contracting Officer Maria de la Luz Pino. The government will evaluate submissions based on pricing for monthly tent rental, delivery/set-up, and pick-up/take-down fees.

The contract is designated as a total small business set-aside under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 115310 with a size standard of $34.0 million. The rental period is specified from May 15, 2025, through September 15, 2025, with a potential two-month extension contingent on weather and incident needs. The tent will be located at the Silver City Interagency Support Cache in Hurley, New Mexico, specifically in a dirt lot north of the Fire Cache entry gate. While no incumbent contractor is mentioned, the solicitation emphasizes the tent's critical role in housing and managing fire supplies, including storing accountable and durable inventory. The tent structure will primarily serve as a logistical support asset for fire management teams, enabling efficient inventory management and supply staging during potential incident response scenarios.
