About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract on a sole source basis to General Atomics for spare parts, assemblies, and incorporated software for life cycle support of the SHEDS/LiFT battery systems installed and operated on various manned dry submersibles. The contract will have a minimum award amount of $500,000 and a maximum award amount of $8,100,000, with various quantities ordered over the five-year life of the contract. The basis for restricting competition is the duplicative cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition, and the unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency requirement through any other source.

This requirement will be negotiated on a sole source basis with General Atomics, and all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quote, which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated award date is June 30, 2023, and the closing date for the pre-solicitation notice is January 9, 2023. Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in order to receive controlled attachments.
