While the solicitation is issued as a sole source action, the government will accept capability statements from other responsible sources and retains discretion to conduct a competitive procurement if deemed appropriate. All offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), and quotes are due by 4:00 PM Eastern Time on January 21, 2026, with submission directed to christopher.m.jones.civ@us.navy.mil.
This procurement carries no set-aside designation, though the original filing indicates consideration for Women-Owned Small Business status. ION-TOF USA, Inc., located at 100 Red Schoolhouse Road, Spring Valley, New York 10977 (CAGE 3SLG5), is the named sole source contractor. The contract covers a one-year period from January 28, 2026 through December 31, 2026, with no specific award value disclosed in the solicitation documents. The work will be performed at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division facility in Crane, Indiana 47522, with David Wisman serving as the Technical Point of Contact. All changes, amendments, and updates to the solicitation will be posted on https://beta.sam.gov/, and interested vendors are responsible for monitoring this site through the January 21, 2026 closing date.
