About this opportunity

The United States Special Operations Command (US SOCOM) has published a Special Notice announcing a sole source procurement for certain MONARCH hardware products from 3DB Labs Inc. The notice states that the government intends to procure these items under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), which allows for sole source acquisitions under certain conditions.

The purpose of this Special Notice is to inform the public of US SOCOM's intent to procure the specified MONARCH hardware without competition. The due date for submission of capability statements, proposals or quotations is October 3, 2024. While this is not a request for competitive offers, US SOCOM will consider information submitted by any responsible source to determine whether a competitive procurement is warranted. Contractors must provide details demonstrating their ability to fulfill the requirement and their relevant past experience. The government will make the final determination on whether to proceed with a sole source award based solely on its own discretion.
