About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command has issued a Notice of Contract Action (NOCA) for the procurement of a SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor SAM500 annual subscription. The 805th Combat Training Squadron's eXperimental Combined Air Operation Center (CAOC-X) requires this network monitoring software capable of monitoring up to 500 nodes for their data center operations. The Acquisition Management and Integration Center (AMIC) at Hurlburt Field, Florida intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order to a 2GIT BPA holder. This procurement falls under NAICS code 513210 (Software Publishers) with a size standard of $47 million. The government has indicated this is a sole source acquisition due to the cost-prohibitive nature of replacing existing technology and the need to avoid extensive retraining of system administrators.
The purpose of this NOCA is to notify industry of the Air Force's procurement intent and potentially identify other qualified sources along with their size classifications. Interested vendors must submit capabilities statements and quotations by 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on August 2, 2025, to Daniel Glushko at daniel.glushko@us.af.mil. Contractors must be 2GIT BPA holders to be eligible for this procurement, and price will be the determining factor in contractor selection. The software licenses must be delivered within 30 days after receipt of order to Langley AFB, Virginia. Supporting documentation must demonstrate the contractor's capabilities and ability to meet the specified requirements, though the government retains sole discretion in determining whether to compete the procurement based on received responses.
