About this opportunity
The Drug Enforcement Administration intends to award a sole-source purchase order to Motorola Solutions Inc. for Software Defined Radio (SDR) systems and cellular drive test analysis tools, with a response deadline of May 27, 2026 at 10:00 AM Eastern Time. Motorola is identified as sole source based on proprietary technology and unique features unavailable elsewhere, including SIM-free attached mode drive test survey capability, ability to probe 5G networks, and seamless integration with existing hardware. The procurement will be conducted under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures as a Firm Fixed Price purchase order with delivery by December 31, 2026. The applicable NAICS code is 541519 and PSC is 7C21. Capability statements should be submitted electronically to Denise.N.Scott@dea.gov. The complete sole-source justification is available in the attached document.
